Sault Ste. Marie is located on the St. Mary’s River directly south of our sister City of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. Situated within minutes of the three greatest Great Lakes, Sault Ste. Marie is a year-round vacationland with a growing high tech economic base. The Sault Ste. Marie EDC is the one-stop economic development organization for Michigan’s first City. The EDC manages two industrial parks, an Industrial Incubator and a Foreign Trade Zone. The EDC also acts as the City’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and Tax Increment Financing Authority, bringing a wide-range of development resources to development opportunities.
